"It is a phyllosilicate mineral and a member of the polylithionite-trilithionite series".
As I understand it, it's a valid name for the mineral series. It isn't a valid mineral name. Cheers --Chris.urs-o (talk) 18:10, 25 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Need a ref, as the references in the article don't say that. Mindat says A mineral in the so-called Polylithionite-Trilithionite series. Cheers, Vsmith (talk) 18:47, 25 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
"Polymorphism & Series: 1M, 2M2; 3A polytypes common; 2M1; 3M2 rare; a group name". Handbook of Mineralogy
OK Handbook has that "group name" tucked in after the polytype line; Min Atlas has it in single 's and no IMA classif. But, it would seem we need a definitive ref stating when the IMA decided it was not a mineral ... Seems they dictate some odd things at times :) Vsmith (talk) 12:15, 26 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
