Lepinski Vir?

Is there any connection between this site and the Neolithic site in Slovakia named Lepinski Vir? Wikipedia has no entry for Lepinski Vir, even though it is a major archaeological site. There are a number of publications that discuss Lepinski Vir, one of them is written by Matthew J. Rossano: "The Religious Mind and the Evolution of Religious Forms", appearing in The Global Spiral e-journal, where it describes Lepinski Vir, Slovakia as being located "on a bank above the Danube in the Carpathian mountains" (similar to the Lepenski Vir, Serbia of this article). Any feedback would be appreciated. --Saukkomies talk 03:39, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

Lepenski/Lepinski Vir are variant spellings of the same site, in Serbia, which is multiperiod Mesolithic-Neolithic. I've never heard of a Lepinski Vir in Slovakia, maybe that's just a mistake on Rossano's part. —Joseph RoeTkCb, 14:04, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
