Image:Leonard Darwin.jpg is being used on this article. LEONARD DARWIN'S FIRST WIFE

Of Charles Darwin's immediate family, only the grave of first wife of Leonard Darwin has not yet been identified : Elizabeth Frances Darwin, nee Fraser - otherwise known as "Aunt Bee" = (1846 - 1898); if anyone knows anything about her, can you please post here or on F-A-G? 2.30.189.104 (talk) 12:19, 17 March 2014 (UTC)

Her death is recorded in Kensington, London in 1898. I can't find her in the parish burial records, though unsure of what this means. I can't find any notice of the death or funeral arrangements in The Times (which often reported such deaths and those attending society funerals). They were married in Kingston, Surrey in 1882 - perhaps she is buried there? Are Leonard Darwin's papers held by Cambridge University Library? The LDS database has her dying 13 January 1898 at Egerton Place, London, London, England and buried 17 January 1898 at *Putney, Wandsworth, Surrey, England, citing Visitation of England and Wales (1893-1921), Howard, Joseph Jackson, (21 volumes. London: [Joseph Jackson Howard], 1893-1921), FHL (Family History Library) book 942 D23h., additions and corrections vol. 6 p. iv. - Nunh-huh 21:20, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

I've also fixed the description of the ancestry of Charlotte Mildred Langton, later Massingberd) Darwin. She was grand-daughter, not daughter, of Charlotte Wedgwood, sister of Emma (Wedgwood) Darwin. - Nunh-huh 22:31, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
