She said it, it's recorded, stop deleting facts and the truth from Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.83.118.24 (talk) 00:21, 19 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please read WP:THETRUTH. The Quixotic Potato (talk) 01:21, 19 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

It's referenced and her exact quotes potato. Just because you do not agree with the truth doesn't mean it shouldn't be on Wikipedia. You are only hurting the purpose of the website and apparently and do not deserve to be editing anything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.83.48.77 (talk) 00:11, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Fun fact: I saw a hedgehog tonight. Did you read WP:THETRUTH?? The Quixotic Potato (talk) 01:53, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Disruptive edits/deletions from members. edit

It appears that persons on Wikipedia are uncomfortable with the truth when it differs from their personal viewpoints and wish to throttle the truth. What I posted was the absolute truth and referenced, but some apparently did not like it. This is much akin to book burning and only hurts the validity of Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.83.48.77 (talk) 00:09, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

See WP:COPYVIO. --NeilN talk to me 00:14, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Edits which reference quotes from the subject of the article should not be subject to deflation unless you are an opponent of the truth NeilN. Do you have a problem with the truth? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.83.48.77 (talk) 00:56, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

I (and Wikipedia) have a problem with people who break the law because they're too lazy to reword copyrighted text. This is the third time you've been told about copyright violations. --NeilN talk to me 01:06, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
I am pretty sure that Neil is also an Opposer of The Truth. The Quixotic Potato (talk) 01:50, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
I am also an Opposer of the Truth. Now can someone add the truth in, please? (I mean, the truth that doesn't violate WP:BLP or WP:COPYRIGHT....) Epic Genius (talk) 15:13, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Nah, this is an encyclopaedia article, not a list of stuff she has said (according to some random blogger). BTW including this comment in an NPOV way doesn't help the IP. The IP wants the article to state that Lenore Skenazy is an evil un-American bitch who allows children to meet up with rapists.
But I gotta admit that it was interesting to see how that blogger seems to misinterpret her comment deliberately. The blog says: "encounters like the ones simulated on this video are “so rare and so random.”" (the encounter that was simulated was a pedo trying to abduct a kid).
The next sentence is "But a 2013 study published in the journal Pediatrics found that these kinds of encounters aren’t all that rare. According to that research, about 30 percent of teen girls surveyed admitted to meeting someone in real life who they had previously only spoken to online, without fully confirming the person’s identity beforehand."
Of course this is something completely different, but the Yahoo Parenting blogger makes it seem like they are the same thing... The Quixotic Potato (talk) 15:51, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
@The Quixotic Potato: First, thanks for the explanation about what was happening in the article. Second, I was joking about Now can someone add the truth in, please?. Epic Genius (talk) 16:46, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
