Leninsky Komsomol class of cargo ships → Leninsky Komsomol-class cargo ship – Per WP:NC-SHIP "class" is an adjective and requires a hyphen. WP:PLURAL. I didn't see a reason to keep the preposition "of." Mark Schierbecker (talk) 10:53, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
- I am author of this article and can be you better know which name is correct. But I understand, for example, when "Kolomna-class" due to one word in the name of class. Here "Leninsky Komsomol-class" can be written as "Komsomol-class" by anybody and the word Leninsky cound be understood separately, - Komsomol-class of Lenin = Leninsky Komsomol-class. Or can be better "Leninsky Komsomol"-class. Any how you better know and you can give order to change as per you above mentioned requirement if it is correct as my motherlanguage is not English. Many Thanks. Let me know your final desigion pls. Грищук ЮН (talk) 11:21, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
- Kolomna-class cargo ships looks good. Can you rephrase your last question? I think you are asking if it is okay to multi-hyphenate "Leninsky-Komsomol-class cargo ships?" Mark Schierbecker (talk) 05:51, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
- Yes. Is it OK "Leninsky-Komsomol-class cargo ships" ? On my opinion "Leninsky Komsomol-class cargo ships" is not clear to understandГрищук ЮН (talk) 21:55, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
- My understanding is that Wikipedia prefers not to. See: "hyphens are never inserted into proper names in compounds," per MOS:HYPHEN. Mark Schierbecker (talk) 22:36, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

- Understood. But how to understand "Leninsky Komsomol-class" - Komsomol-class of Lenin? "Leninsky Komsomol-class" is looking like Leninsky "Komsomol-class" - we lost the ship's name LENINSKY KOMSOMOL as KOMSOMOL-class became the main. You say to me what is better and I will change. Soviet fleet had plenty classes whis two words. For example: Zoya Kosmodemiyanskaya class. If correct Leninsky Komsomol-class and everybody will understand clear - I will change accordingly in all articles.Грищук ЮН (talk) 15:32, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
- "Komsomol-class cargo ship" would be ideal, but that's not a name that is already in common use. Correct? I don't want to invent a title. Mark Schierbecker (talk) 07:17, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
- I changed "Leninsky Komsomol class of cargo ships" to Leninsky Komsomol class cargo ships Грищук ЮН (talk) 09:55, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

- Did you not read the very clear message at the top of the article, which says Do not move the page until the discussion has reached consensus for the change and is closed? I've reverted the change. Wikishovel (talk) 16:04, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
