According to FreeBMD, the marriage of a Leonard Bratley to Doris Woodhead was registered during Janaury→March 1947 in Lower Agbrigg district, or to Doris Peat was registered also during Janaury→March 1947 in Lower Agbrigg district, it could be just confusion over Doris' surname, but is this Len Bratley?
