Instruments edit

If I remember correctly, Wen plays Keyboard. I think it should also be noted that Charlie plays drums, rather than just percussion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.19.226.104 (talk) 17:06, 17 April 2011 (UTC) what ignorance. drums is in the percussion catagory. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.132.62.176 (talk) 14:02, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Improving the quality of this article edit

I am very interested in improving this article, and I notice that there are some issues with this article:

  1. The plot section is a bit lacking.
    1. A lot of plot information is in the characters section, and that plot info should probably be relocated to the plot section or removed.
  2. (more accurately a subsection of the first concern)The character section is HUGE. It comprises, as far as I can tell, about half the article, and the band members' descriptions would be better if they were just a little bit larger than the current minor character descriptions, maybe about the length of Charlie's or Mo's current descriptions.
    1. Again, important plot points/info can be put in the plot section and any extraneous information should be removed.
  3. The reception section could probably be expanded with reviews from different sources and perhaps some negative reviews, if there are any.

I'm really looking for comment/input from people who have read the book. I can't get a hold of this book until the summer (though I am very much looking forward to reading it), so all I know about the plot is what's contained on the Amazon preview. Therefore, I'm not sure what about the plot is important and what is okay to remove, so all I've been doing so far is removing what seems really unimportant/trivial. If you've got any input on these or other issues, please discuss it here. - Purplewowies (talk) 02:33, 12 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Soc314: Wikipedia Critique an Article Assignment edit

First off, the article's summary paragraph could have gone into more depth about what critics and audiences approved of. It also should have mentioned how the book(s) were received, since this specific article is about the book.

Secondly, the second link for this article was for "ASTAL, the Alliance for the Study and Teaching of Adolescent Literature at Rhode Island College". I followed this link and could not find where on the website it said that Delacorte Press published the book. The first link, to Google Books, says that it is from Random House Children's Books, which appears to be a separate publishing company. Hbartz (talk) 04:15, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
