Isn't the Broken Bridge (断桥) a scene in this story? It should be mentioned in the article. Badagnani 03:58, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Storyline

The current Storyline is a synposis of the most recent tv series based on the legend. It is not a summary of the original legend.

Also, in Jingshi Tongyan Qing Qing was in fact a fish, not a green snake. I don't know at which point she became a snake, but it is also a later addition. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.247.139.133 (talk) 04:56, 9 May 2012 (UTC)

Melusine

Chinese legend ?? We have a similar one in the West with Melusine and the count Guy of Lusignan

Melusine (or Melusina) is a figure of European legends and folklore, a feminine spirit of fresh waters in sacred springs and rivers.

She is usually depicted as a woman who is a serpent or fish from the waist down (much like a mermaid). She is also sometimes illustrated with wings, two tails or both. ...
