Deleted "Working Age by Country" section
editHere it was in its entirety:
* United States o New Jersey - 13 for some jobs, 14 for others, 16 for most, 18 for all [1]. o Maryland - 14-17 with a work permit.[2]. * UK o 13 - Part time work WorkSmart from the TUC shows that the type of work is restricted to light agricultural or horticultural work or as allowed by-laws.
A list of working ages for two American states and a claim about the working age in one other country does not constitute an encyclopedic list of working ages by country. It is far too incomplete to be included. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.196.205.92 (talk) 02:35, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- So fix it, add more. Being incomplete is a very bad reason for removing the list. WP:Wikipedia is not finished -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 03:00, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

Japanese working age dispute
editHere is a summary of Japan's default working age:
Age | Condition |
---|---|
15 | Minimum employment and working age |
18 | Restricted |
20 | Free |
Hmm...I am not sure if the claim above is true. I know that the minimum working age is 15, then I thought at 18 is restricted and 20 is unrestricted. Does Japan's box just need 15 or will this information be retained? Recently I found a reliable source to prove that Japan's minimum age is 15. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.18.28.105 (talk) 05:49, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
Here is the current one as of September 15, 2020:
Age | Condition |
---|---|
15 | Restricted work and working hours |
18 | Practice work everyday |
20 | Free |
It appears this may not be true as well. — 119.18.28.105 (talk) 02:47, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
Age | Condition |
---|---|
15 | Restricted Work and Working Hours |
18 | Persons Aged 18 or 19 Are Restricted to Difficult Work on Tuesdays; Any Kind of Work Outside Tuesday |
20 | Exempt from Restrictions |
And I did decide to include an 18-year old mark and set unrestricted work to 20 years of age, since Japan’s age of majority is currently 20. — 119.18.28.105 22:14, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
I absolutely think there is a possible reason for the 20-year-old unrestricted working age limit in Japan. This is because at the beginning of the article, it mentions the age of majority. I would confirm that under the maturity age is restricted; above maturity age is free. — 119.18.28.105 03:53, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
