I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. My edit

My -unnecessarily- reverted edit was not on suppressing anybody's ethnicity. It was about calling 'refugees' people who were immigrants due to a population exchange and calling 'Asia Minor' what is Turkey for a thousand years in Western languages. You're playing with words. A Greek lyricist is different from being an ethnic Greek lyricist. Just like how Jim Belushi is an American actor but an ethnic Albanian. But you're removing the entire wording of his ethnic Greek identity thus rendering the ethnic identity of this person unintelligible. If the sources say his father was expelled from Turkey, when it was Turkey and not the Ottoman Empire, and say he was from a village near Bursa, why not say exactly that rather than some vague "Asia Minor" non-country? Tiptoethrutheminefield (talk) 01:30, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

Actually the sources don't mention Turkey. They mention the name of the village and the Bursa location. I just assumed that in 1924 it was ok to mention Turkey. However, please feel free to modify the information as needed. Δρ.Κ. ^{λόγοςπράξις} 01:35, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

The autobiographic source says that the father, who came from the village Mιχαλίτσι (Michalitsi) near Bursa (which today is Karacabey), lost his parents as a child and was sent to a children's home in the Prince Islands (in the Marmara Sea). From there he was expelled in 1924 (together with all the others who had not lived in Istanbul long enough to be included in the exceptions from the Population Exchange). This would indicate that he was "displaced" from his village during the war period. In that case the use of "Turkey" is a bit problematic, as is "Ottoman Empire". Could we say something like "a village near Bursa in todays Turkey"? The mother came from a village (Pakanski?) near Novorossiysk. --T*U (talk) 07:16, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
