- The radio stations on the "left of dial" (at least in the U.S.) are often either college or public radio stations which are known to have open playlists and therefore are more apt to play "underground," "indy," or "alternative" music. In LA, we have KXLU which at 88.9 is nearly at the very END of the left half of the dial. Jackbox1971 (talk) 20:30, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
