This article is in great shape and was truly entertaining read. I literally have only two concerns, both of which, ironically, are related to the demo...

  • "A five-minute trailer was released on Halloween. A playable demo was made available on November 6 for pre-purchasers and on November 11 for the general public, and was closed on November 18, 2008. The demo contained the majority of the first two chapters in the "No Mercy" campaign, and was playable in both single and multi-player co-op." I think this info would have been crucial for the intro prior to the game's release, but now that it's out, I don't think it's relevant enough anymore. I would suggest dropping this stuff from the intro altogether...
  • There are no citations on the first two paragraphs of the Demo section. Are they meant to be from that source cited in the first sentence of the third paragraph? If so, that citation should be added to the end of each of the first two paragraphs as well.

Nice job! --Hunter Kahn (talk) 03:40, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've made the changes you suggested, I've removed " The demo concluded on November 18, when Left 4 Dead was made available at retail outlets across North America and worldwide via Steam, in order to use the dedicated servers for the full game." in the mean time. I know I saw that confirmed by Valve somewhere but for the moment I can't cite it. Skeith (talk) 04:31, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

A good article is:

  1. Well-written: Prose is good, MOS is good.
  2. Factually accurate and verifiable: Sources are good, no original research.
  3. Broad in its coverage: Covers main aspects, no unneeded detail.
  4. Neutral: Yes.
  5. Stable: Yes.
  6. Illustrated, if possible, by images: Very good work here.

Well done. I really enjoyed this article. --Hunter Kahn (talk) 04:39, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
