Stub Class

edit

This biography should obviously now be taken out of stub class. I wish I had time to figure out what this "template" business is all about....Redeyed Treefrog 21:48, 10 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I wonder if I did this right? I took everything out of the biography project template entry at the top this page, so that all that is left is: { { WPBiography } } Redeyed Treefrog 16:36, 23 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Pennywhistle Modem

edit

This was on the cover of the March 1976 issue of Popular Electronics. (pages 43-46, 49-50) The kit was ordered from M&R Enterprises, Sunnyvale, CA for $97.50.

There was an ad introducing the Processor Technology VDM-1 for $160 on page 96. This was an Altair (S-100) bus card to display 16 lines of 64 characters.

Double references

edit

I have just rearranged the Lee Felsenstein article in order to give it a proper introduction, and so that the Table of Contents starts earlier than at the "Trivia" heading. However, in creating the introduction I copied an early passage into the main text, such that the references have been doubled: references 3 and 4 are now the same as references 1 and 2. Can anyone suggest how to fix this? Redeyed Treefrog 21:46, 2 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have corrected the double reference problem using the < ref name= > function. Redeyed Treefrog 09:27, 1 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Picture

edit

A decent picture of Lee is at http://flickr.com/photos/laughingsquid/436999624/, I'm not sure if the license matches up. If somebody wants to check the licensing then maybe this page can get a picture! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.129.64.1 (talk) 00:27, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately, the license includes Creative Commons NC (noncommercial) provision, which makes it incompatible with Wikipedia. However, I might be able to convince the photographer to change it. Also, I might have taken a picture of Lee at some event (I'll look through my photo library) and if so I'd be glad to upload it and release it with an appropriate license. --MCB (talk) 06:00, 28 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Source for his 2016 Fellow Award from the Computer History Museum needs to be added. I believe it counts as a reference but am unsure of formatting. [1]http:// — Preceding unsigned comment added by SherryReson (talkcontribs) 02:32, 23 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
