Re: Lee's ethnicity, how much more proof do you need?

edit

I've seen a few websites stating that he was indeed Jewish. From: thephantom.wikia.com/wiki/Lee_Falk, Both of his parents were Jewish. And also from: www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Lee_Falk, Both of his parents were Jewish. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.186.203.175 (talk) 02:11, 22 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Australian Woman's Mirror was the first magazine to publish The Phantom, starting 1936. In 1938, their first comic book, here shown, was published.

I'm not sure why it was removed, perhaps for aesthetic reasons, so I am moving it here in case a regular article editor can benefit from knowing the file still exists. (I imagine it's hard to find the image if it gets lost! - BalthCat 06:33, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

The image is on the Ray Moore page now.

Lee Falk's ethnicity

edit

The biography says that both of his parents were Jewish, but this article only has one reference, and the reference makes no mention of that. In addition, so far I have nothing on the net that gives any indication as to what his ethnicity is, other then his father's surname is Epstein, which at best proves he is half Jewish, (if Epstein is solely a Jewish surname)if it proves anything at all. Again, no proper citation is in violation of the original content rule, and that sentence will be deleted if no one puts up proper sources. --Jtd00123 (talk) 07:35, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Furthur research has indicated that Epstein was the surname of his stepfather. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0266166/bio I am deleting the statement that both of his parents were Jewish. It should remain deleted until sources are cited on the issue.--Jtd00123 (talk) 07:42, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
