To the anonymous editor (ip address 24.79.163.117 based in winnipeg canada) who edited the aforemtioned entry. Please explain why the entry was replaced with

"Members of the noble family Ledochowski currently live and flourish in Austria, Poland, the United Kingdom and Canada. Canada members have both Ledochowski and Ledohowski variations within the same family trees due to error in pronunciations with officials upon immigrating to Canada."

None of the Family monographs mention Canadian descendants (most recent: Ledóchowski, Mieczysław Aby pozostał nasz ślad: dzieje rodu Ledóchowskich, Towarzystwo Przyjacioł Ossolineum, 2002, ISBN 8370950515).

Also: William F. Hoffman, Author, Polish Surnames: Origins and Meanings replies to Ben Ledohowski query: "It's worth noting that peasant families who were somehow associated with either of these places might also end up with this surname; all Ledochowski's are not necessarily noble." http://www.pgsa.org/NotesSurnames/nazw9.php

Also despite there being no evidence of descent from this family I note with interest that members of the Canadian Ledohowski family continue to make allussions to their membership by copying a coat of arms provided by myself to Wikipedia and pasting it on their own homepage (www.ledohowski.org)
