Talk:Leadership approval opinion polling for the 2021 Senedd election

Merge with main Sennedd polling article? edit

Hi fellow Wikipedians. I was resquested to help with the table coding on this article and wanted to raise a discussion. This data is really interesting but wonder if it should be merged with Opinion polling for the 2021 Senedd election? Unlike the national leadership polling, this article will remain significantly smaller for an election in 7 months. Inline with the arguments on WP:MERGE, there a lot of overlap. I think I would agree with this, especially if the contents of this page could be condensed into fewer tables (a lot of the data looks like it has been taken from a few polls and spread out by candidate rather than poll). Gazamp (talk) 12:40, 14 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
I would suggest: Adjust the table's visuals to match national leadership approval; Don't have separate polling per year and just merge into one, it doesn't seem too necessary and; add regional opinions on national politicians into the National article (they can have a dark grey background & footnote to show its regional. This has been done for Brexit polling too). Example for Drakeford:

Additionally a graphic which all the leaders' scores would be good. Jonjonjohny (talk) 15:39, 14 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Support Makes a lot of sense. Don't see an argument against the merger. B. M. L. Peters (talk) 17:42, 11 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
