Untitled edit

From 2010 the village has been awarded its own wine appellation in recognition of the quality of its red wine. The new appellation is called Saumur-Puy Notre Dame. There are around 75 hectares in the new designation and the wine produced differs from that in the Saumur appellation in having to have much lower yields, a longer time in bottle before release and it is only permitted on certain types of limestone soils. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ponot (talkcontribs) 13:33, 12 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
