Notability

@David Eppstein, with what sources does this pass the general notability guideline? The only Google Scholar links I see addressing it in any depth are by its creators. czar 14:24, 1 June 2016 (UTC)

Google scholar lists 267 papers that cite "A compiler for lazy ML" and 138 that cite "The Chalmers lazy-ML compiler". Those are mostly independent reliable sources, some of them surely in-depth enough.In addition it finds "GAML: A parallel implementation of lazy ML" by someone at INRIA (so independent of Chalmers), itself cited 28 times. Milner 1997 devotes a paragraph to lazy ML [1], as does another 2013 book [2]. —David Eppstein (talk) 16:11, 1 June 2016 (UTC)

I spot checked a dozen of the more prominent papers from that bunch and none treat LML with more than a passing mention. It's usually mentioned in a list with other ML iterations. I suggest that we cover LML proportionally and redirect to its entry at ML (programming language), where we can use the citations you mentioned, but none go into any great depth for an article dedicated to LML. czar 18:10, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
