Question on his nationality

edit

Hong Kong-Canadian, Chinese-Canadian, British Hong Kong-Canadian, Hongkonger-Canadian? I'm not sure which is most proper. Jgcascade (talk) 22:52, 20 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Use "businessman based in Hong Kong and Macau", but skipping nationality. Many businessman based in Hong Kong with Chinese-Hong Kong ethnic / cultural group, was in fact have foreign nationality, but they are instead notable as "businessman based in Hong Kong [and Macau]" in the news reporting , but not notable to their true nationality . Second thought, may be Canadian businessman is alright, unless the school magazine of the uni is not reliable. Matthew hk (talk) 23:21, 20 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

June 2017 COI hatnote

edit

It wasn't noted which editor's additions were the issue, so I just sourced the whole thing to be sure. I also checked for copyright violations and it looks alright, far better than in 2017. Can chop more if the hatnoter is still irked by some remnants of the old page. Jgcascade (talk) 22:57, 20 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

I don't know the history of this article, but many biographical article of the second-generation billionaire in wikipedia, were full of suspicious COI paid edits. Article of Lawrence Ho's [half] sister, was deleted for non-notable AND paid editing. Matthew hk (talk) 23:26, 20 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
