The Lawndale Incident edit
I saw the entry for the Lawndale Incident on the page. I don't know if the source is a legitmate source. I have never heard of the incident, but will ask someone here in Logan County, Illinois, where I live. It seems like if it were true I would have heard of it. Kenallen 20:08, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- I spoke with some of the staff at the Lincoln, Illinois campus of Heartland Community College. A guidance counselor, who grew up in Lawndale, said the story is legitimate, she knew Marlon Lowe, even though she had forgotten the name of who the bird picked up, & Marlon Lowe is still alive. Therefore, I will remove the "citation needed". Kenallen 20:29, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
The bird was reported to be a California Condor. We lived in Lawndale at the time and most of us are still not sure if the story was fabricated or not...
