  1. I would contend it's not a related principle to the "Law of triviality," and even if it is, not to the same extent that the other two supposed "Laws" are. The other two similarly reference the tendency to over-focus on the trivial rather than the more technically challenging ideas. This one references compulsive behavior of feedback from those in management positions.
  2. I don't know that naming it "Atwood's Duck" is appropriate, as the full quote isn't his – it's a Stack Overflow answer from someone else. As far as I know, Jeff Atwood never worked at Interplay, and he attributes the answer on his blog to another user. Ehler (talk) 02:34, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
