I think "operatives" is downplaying the acts of the perpetrators, they were terrorists. They intentionally attacked civilian targets. 85.148.244.121 (talk) 05:45, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
What the perpetrators have done corresponds exactly with the core definition of terrorism. Here even those are euphemized as "operatives" who were convicted for their terror by a court. They are even belittled as "spies" ("Israel publicly honored the surviving spies on March 30, 2005"), although it is obvious that their job was not to spy; the labeling by the partisan jewish source is adopted here verbatim! Hi. Informative article about the Lavon Affair. Just finished re-reading "The Spymasters of Israel" by Stewart Steven, where the Lavon Affair is described blow-by-blow. A citation could be added to show the inefficacy of official Israeli denial.

Who are the egyptians here? Does Elad inform egyptian police or the egyptian jews and the police intercepted the information?
