Modeling edit

All the links to her Bon Image profile and such are dead and I don't know what that means.Aresef (talk) 15:37, 4 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Chinese vs. Taiwanese edit

Yes, I know, from a certain geopolitical point of view they're the same thing but based on some of the discussion going on in the edits about this, we need to sort this out. I know what her old modeling page said about her nationality being Chinese, but that's imprecise--did they mean PRC or ROC? Can we get a better quality source to resolve this question?--Aresef (talk) 23:42, 12 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

What is going on? edit

@Lightbluerain: @Orangemike: I am unable to understand what is currently going on with this article. Some edit summaries have been revdelled -- am I to surmise that the subject of the article wanted some personal information removed? It looks like most of what got removed was absolute dreck anyway -- some of it (like music videos she appeared in) seems to be relatively benign and well-sourced. And has anyone confirmed that this is actually her, and not some random person? jp×g 00:29, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

@JPxG, an IP editor removed some information from the page. I undid the edit and sent a message to the IP. A little later I came back to see the IP has made some more edits to remove some information. In one of the edits, the IP editor said that they were the subject and didn't want to have so much personal information like family members on their Wikipedia page. I didn't know how to deal with this so I went to research on this. Meanwhile, another user made their very first edit on the page to undo all the deletion. Till I came back, User:Thryduulf had suppressed the edit summary. Perhaps Thryduulf or any other administrator can tell what was in it. I undid the new user edit for it seemed suspicious. The last two of the edits you can see in the history. Orangemike undid all the edits. I undid their edit. Lightbluerain (Talk | contribs) 07:47, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
And, I didn't confirm if the IP was indeed the subject or not. I don't know how to do this. Lightbluerain (Talk | contribs) 07:50, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
The only thing suppressed has been the IP address of an editor who did not realise that it would be made public. The contents of the edits have not been touched. The suppressed edit summaries (I've just spotted I missed one first time) were "undid edits by [ip address]" (it is not possible for Oversighters to modify edit summaries or redact only part of one). I have no opinion on the content matters, but did advise the person who emailed Oversight that if they are the subject they should not be editing the article themselves, and pointed them to Wikipedia:Contact us/Article subjects.
