The image on this page is of Melissa George out of character. Shouldn't an image of her as Reed be used? john k 00:37, 20 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • The image used is in fact an image of Melissa George as Lauren Reed. It was taken as part of the season three cast photos. Indja 11:08, 19 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

dialect edit

Could someone please explain why she has that annoying British accent? Isn't her mother British, and wasn't she raised in the UK? I haven't watched the show in a while and have forgotten these details; I was hoping this page would answer my question.

  • She went to school in England. Otto4711 22:59, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Just speculating on this, it was probably a creative decision because the accent may have suited both the actress and the character - it works the 'femme fatale' aspect. In the series, George and Olivia Reed (Lauren's parents) both speak with American accents, but it can be supposed that they spent considerable time in Dover as George's will states his wish for his ashes to be scattered there.
