For a WikiProject Top importance article, this piece is certainly a disappointment. I have no interest in Gomez other than because he ordered Columbian troops to support the UN in the Korean War. So the reference I supplied, the only one in the article, provides some information. But in looking at the un-referenced material, I wonder how this article could last so long without significant effort to reference it properly and re-write with NPOV in mind.
