2012 edit

I know for SpaceX's they perform simulated countdowns during them, I'm unsure if the same is done for Delta IV and Atlas V. SpaceX also performs two WDRs per mission, the first one without the payload and the second with.--Craigboy (talk) 07:05, 1 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Article name edit

The article is still named Wet dress rehearsal, yet is clearly now about all launch vehicle launch mount tests, both the wet dress rehearsal tests, and also static fire tests.

It seems it ought to be renamed, to a broader, more inclusive name, and then have subsections describing the various types of pre-launch tests that might be done on a launch vehicle from its launch mount.

Unless anyone objects on principle, I'll try to get back here in a week or more and make the title more inclusive. Cheers. N2e (talk) 20:29, 23 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Seeing no objection, just moved the article to Launch vehicle system tests. Cheers. N2e (talk) 12:18, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Spin prime edit

This article should also cover "cold fire" tests, or "spin prime", or "cold flow" exhaust test -- 64.229.90.172 (talk) 21:09, 25 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
