Swedish pronounciation

Yeah, and I can't help notice that there is a very strong correlation between a person's view on the euro and how she pronounces it. The more opposed she is, the more likely she is to say [ˈjʊːro] rather than [ˈɛvɾu]. I assume it's a way to, consciously or unconsciously, help push the view of the euro as something foreign. The currency exchange firm Forex even forbade (and still does?) its personnel to use any other pronounciation than [ˈjʊːro]. (Source: [1])

I would like to remove that pronounciation from the summary table. It might be used in practice, but it is not a correct Swedish pronounciation, linguistically or officially. I have no problem with letting the above sentence remain in the text though. --Maggu (talk) 09:39, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

How do you know what's correct? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.189.103.145 (talk) 20:35, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, folks, the correct English spelling is 'pronunciation', not 'pronounciation'!213.127.210.95 (talk) 15:43, 19 September 2015 (UTC)

Spelling of "spelt"

A minor point: the article uses both forms of the past participle of "spell". Should we standardize on one spelling. I think "spelt" is preferred in British English. --Boson (talk) 07:04, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

I've amended the article to say "spelt" McLerristarr (talk) 03:24, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

The true situation is that "spelled" (like similar spellings, as well as "organize" and so on) is acceptable in both British and American English, but "spelt" (and "organise") only in British English.213.127.210.95 (talk) 15:54, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
