editMy dad said he was at this airbase in April 44, he came across it in a patrol. He said it was abandoned, and there were supplies lying around which they destroyed, then went into the hills to track down Japs. If the base was like this 5 months before the primary allied landing, I'm guessing it wasn't much of a fight. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 214.27.58.2 (talk) 06:41, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
