So the first sentence should not read "Land of the Living (2003) is a thriller novel by English authoress Nicci French." but "Land of the Living (2003) is a thriller novel by two English authoress writing under the Pseudonym Nicci French.

New Line Cinema have won a bidding war for screen-rights to film Land of the Living.New Line Cinema have made many blockbusters including The Lord of the Rings

An American writer James Ellroy is expected to adapt and write the screenplay.

This is the first time Ellroy has adapted a work that was not his own .
