References needed edit

This interesting little article has no verifiable references listed. Can anyone please help add some? So it can be supported and if possible expanded. Thanks & regards, DPdH (talk) 13:42, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Article expansion edit

Dear wikipedians, I'm expanding this article based on the information in the links listed, especially where newspapers articles appear. I also added some structure (sections and sub-sections). To further expand, I need help with:

  • identifying other news or books to be used as sources,
  • adding "free" images (of tankers, refinery, docks, etc).

Your contribution will be greatly appreciated. Thanks & regards, DPdH (talk) 02:10, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

List of lake tankers edit

I've recently found additional online sources (that I've added to the "External links" section for now) showing other lake tankers owned or managed by Lago and Standard Oil; and also by Shell. Will expand the list with these; however as now about 80 ships will be listed maybe the section will evolve into an independent article if it's too long for the existing one. British American Oil lake tanker fleet? edit

While searching for additional sources, I identified that the "British American Oil" company also had in its fleet some "lake tankers"; so I added these to the "Lake tanker fleet" section. However I can't find additional confirmation whether these ships ever navigated the Lake Maracaibo route, which is the focus of this article. Can anyone please help provide this confirmation, based on verifiable sources? Thanks & regards, DPdH (talk) 23:57, 21 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Trouble archiving links on the article edit

Hello. I am finding myself repeatedly archiving links on this page. This usually happens when the archive doesn't recognize the archive to be good.

This could be because the link is either a redirect, or I am unknowingly archiving a dead link. Please check the following links to see if it's redirecting, or in anyway bad, and fix them, if possible.

In any event this will be the only notification in regards to these links, and I will discontinue my attempts to archive the page.

External links modified edit

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Lake tanker. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
