Fish in a dried-out lake?

The article states that "Three to four native fish species inhabit the lake", and yet the article states that the lake has dried out. This combination seems odd. Joreberg (talk) 17:28, 10 August 2016 (UTC)

Tenses

The article is a mix of past and present tense that should be cleaned up. The lead changed last year from "was" to "is" based on a possibly-temporary refilling. I don't know if the lake is back to "was" status. The article should be self-consistent either way. Vox Sciurorum (talk) 21:41, 15 February 2019 (UTC)
