I emailed the Tourism Institute of Nicaragua (http://www.visit-nicaragua.com/index_eng.html) for a permission to use pictire of Lake Managua as well, I hope this like the picture of Managua comes through.

Isn’t it better to call the lake by its actual name “ Xolotlán”? And not let it be a shadow of the city’s name?

In our folklore the two biggest lake have been called Cocibolca and Xolotlán, you can listen the old songs. We never called them Lake Managua or Lake Nicaragua in the society. 95.127.35.79 (talk) 12:03, 8 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
