Improper Spelling of Lake edit

According to the City of Wasilla, and the USGS link provided as a reference for this page, the spelling for this lake is "Lucile Lake". Shouldn't it be correct in Wikipedia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.42.156.35 (talk) 17:44, 18 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Controlling runoff from the six-lane highway is considered a key to saving the lakes in Wasilla.

As it runs past Lake Lucille, the Parks Highway has only 2 lanes in each direction (with a bi-directional left-turn lane in the center).

According to Google maps, going past Lake Wasilla, the highway has 3 lanes in the westbound direction, but only 2 going east (plus a left-turn bay for a frontage road that begins immediately to the east of the lake).

According to David Talbot, founder of Salon, Lake Lucille was listed as "impaired" in 1994 by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation and in 2008 still carried the same descriptive label after twelve years of "Wasilla's frenzied development" under Mayor Sarah Palin (Oct 1996 - Oct 2002) and her successor as mayor, Dianne Keller (Oct 2002 - Oct 2008).

Inflammatory and biased language (such as that found in a number of news and opinion publications during the 2008 election campaign) may reflect the opinions of certain writers, but—even when properly sourced—such opinions should be balanced with other views where available. 108.246.205.134 (talk) 04:08, 16 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
