Inclusiveness of page

I strongly disagree with another editor's determination to remove several entries on the grounds that these women would only incorrectly have been referred to as "Lady Stanley" but life is too short to bother continuing to fight for a commonsense approach. PamD 23:29, 11 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

May I ask you whether you realise that "Lady Stanley may refer to" the women currently listed and none other? What exactly is "commonsense" about saying that "Lady Stanley" can refer to those to whom it cannot refer to? I have never seen any of those women called "Lady Stanley", as they are simply not referred to as such. If we were to include every daughter and every wife of each of the 27 earls of Derby, do you realise how long this disambiguation page would be and how pointless it would be to include a hundred women who are simply never called "Lady Stanley"?
