Her NYT obituary doesn't give one, but does include another item missing from the article: "Some years ago she startled London by declaring that she had been kidnapped she believed by Irish agitators, and had been held for several days in captivity. Her story was never disproved, but neither was it proved. and there were many people who said that the whole affair was imaginary. " - Nunh-huh00:07, 30 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Given the tags at the top, I started looking through the article. There are some family sections that I think could be trimmed significantly: information that isn't directly related to Lady Florence could be cut, information that is relevant to her should be included in a way that makes its relevance TO HER clearer. E.g. Lady Florence Dixie's grandson Sir Wolstan Dixie. If she is mentioned in the autobiography he wrote, then something could be said about what he wrote about her; otherwise I'd cut that whole paragraph. Also the whole "Problem family" section is problematic; it's basically about other people who are covered in other articles. Also the equation of suicide and mental illness is inappropriate. I would tend to cut this information, working facts in only when their effect on Lady Florence is clearly indicated. For example, if there are materials that discuss Lady Florence's relationship to her twin brother, it would be appropriate to talk about how she felt about him, and her response to his death. The article is currently unbalanced: later sections on news articles about possible "threats" to Lady Florence are overly heavy; more should be written about her career as a writer. I checked the family information from Bosie and confirmed that it was a copyvio, pretty much word for word. Moreover, the information quoted was not expanded upon or supported elsewhere in the book, whose scholarship has been questioned in a number of reviews. On all grounds, inappropriate for the article.
