Hello, I'm Calvin999 and I am reviewing this article.

Review
  • The couple was educated → The couple were educated
  • Done
  • The lead implies that she had more than one child, but the info box only lists one child. All children should be included in the info box.
  • Done (included the ones who survived to adulthood)
  • including the 9th Earl of Winchilsea. → His name should be before the title, too.
  • Done
  • An accomplished woman, Finch gained her appointment as royal governess → What had she accomplished prior to becoming governess? Just having children?
  • "Accomplished" refers to her education and skills; Austen satirically defined it like so: "A woman must have a thorough knowledge of music, singing, drawing, dancing, and the modern languages, to deserve the word ['accomplished']; and besides all this, she must possess a certain something in her air and manner of walking, the tone of her voice, her address and expressions."
  • the birth of the Prince of Wales, → Again, his name should be included.
  • Done
  • The lead isn't summarizing the article entirely. Later life and death have been omitted.
  • I've added a bit more of text to the lead about this.
  • include ten children, → include ten children:
  • Done
  • scant → This choice of word doesn't read very well.
  • Done
  • Their only son, George, inherited the earldoms of Nottingham and Winchilsea from his paternal uncle in 1769. → Presumably because Daniel had no sons?
  • Yes, but that would be OR, I think.
  • the birth of the Prince of Wales, → Again, his name would be helpful.
  • Done
  • Horace Walpole called the decision → You've already used his full name in the previous section, so no need to continue using his first name.
  • Done
  • The princes she oversaw → She oversaw the princes
  • Done
  • He died soon after, in late 1766 → He died in late 1766.
  • Done
