Embryonic nature and origin of the labrum edit

I am a little confused with the text stating that the labrum is positioned at the anterior of the head during early development and later moves "backward" to its adult position. To me it seems that even in adults, take the grasshopper diagram for example. The labrum is one of the most anteriorly positioned structures (there is almost nothing in "front" of it. Maybe I am misunderstanding where the "front" or most anterior position is supposed to be or what the reference point is for the most anterior position.
