Could Dobermoeller please disclose his/her affiliation with the company described in this page if any? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Schmoozy (talkcontribs) 22:32, 6 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

edit

What on the page comes off as advertising? It's a brief description of the company with verifiable third party citations for some minor details. It's very strange that all of 68.175.131.91 (talk) edits seem to be some kind of personal vendetta against this page.

The page as it existed when I first stumbled across it was rather long and looked like pure promotional material. It was written largely by two users with "Labroots" in their usernames. The only source that passes the sniff test for me is the IEEE Spectrum article, which was written shortly after Labroots was started and doesn't strike me as a strong source anyway. One of the sources is dead, and another is a press release by Labroots. It is not that I have a vendetta against the page; it is that the page was quite inappropriate for Wikipedia as it stood. 68.175.131.91 (talk) 12:43, 3 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Page is curated by LabRoots staff edit

This article is clearly written by staff at LabRoots. It is already obvious from skimming the article, but there are also multiple accounts dedicated to editing LabRoots material in the history (@Laurence at Labroots, @Labroots Editor at the very least). 68.175.131.91 (talk) 21:04, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

I think this article fails notability guidelines edit

I am no expert here, but the only reference which seems to be a reliable source and is not promotional material is the IEEE Spectrum article. I don't think the mention of Labroots in that article qualifies as significant coverage. I think this means that Wikipedia:Notability is not satisfied? Frankly, the page seems to be primarily unsourced content added by staff. 68.175.131.91 21:30, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
