Please use T:AH to organize the talk page so I can understand the concerns of the prior reviewers. I think I see about three prior peer reviews and an official copy edit. I want to make sure I have an understanding of what the past issues have been.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 05:00, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

LEAD
History
  • It seems to me that La Liga should have a link.
  • Is there no history between 1988 and 2007?
    • Not very much I'm afraid, most focuses on the recent success of Barcelona and Spain. Sandman888 (talk) 10:46, 8 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • I don't understand this sentence: "The success of La Masia as a talent school has been ascribed by Ian Hawkey of The Times " and why isn't The Times linked?
  • Link some of these regions since many english speakers are not familiar with regions of Spain: About half of them were from Catalonia, and the rest came from other regions of the Kingdom of Spain and beyond, including 15 from Cameroon, 7 from Brazil, 5 from Senegal and 3 from Argentina. Of those 500, about 10 percent made it into the first team.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 00:11, 8 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Organisation
  • You talk about the cost, but don't mention a tuition cost to the players.
  • comprise should probably be "are comprised of"
  • Is there a link for "2009 10 season"--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:38, 9 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

This article is quite deficient in terms of covering the history.

a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
I am not so sure about the licensing of File:Masia-AmorFerrerMussonsGuardiola.jpg
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
Because of my concerns about the history, I am requesting a second opinion.

2nd opinion edit

  • Short of listing all of the players who graduated through the academy in the seven years between 1990 and 2007, I don't think that is a particular problem to have this "gap".
  • The word ascribe is a synonym of attribute, see wiktionary:ascribe. Jezhotwells (talk) 11:57, 10 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • The image File:Masia-AmorFerrerMussonsGuardiola.jpg. Tony asked me to look at the licensing. The license is definitely wrong. This is a photograph of a photograph, so the copyright belongs to the original photographer. I have nominated it for deletion at Commons, but it might be OK on English Wikipedia with a suitable fair use rationale. Jezhotwells (talk) 22:51, 10 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
    • This article is on hold awaiting final responses from the editor.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 19:54, 12 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
      • Thanks to both of you for the reviews. I've removed imaged and replaced ascribed with the synonym. Sandman888 (talk) 09:08, 14 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

I am now satisfied and am passing this article.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:10, 14 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
