The result of the move request was: Moved to La Gazelle (train). I count five people as being OK with this option. If the helicopter is never known as in English as La Gazelle then the case for the plain move of the train to La Gazelle would be stronger. People disagree on whether the 'La' is sometimes part of the helicopter's name. For instance, the IP 65.94.43.89 and Cavarrone take opposite views, but neither one offered any search data. (My own Google searches didn't find a clear answer). I'm redirecting La Gazelle to Gazelle (disambiguation). EdJohnston (talk) 00:06, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
La Gazelle train → La Gazelle – The name of the service is La Gazelle, so the suffix train is not required at all. If a suffix is required, it should be La Gazelle (train) to show it is not a part of the name of the service. --Relisted. - Support move to "La Gazelle" - I've never seen the helicopter called "La Gazelle" in English, so some sort of proof would be needed to show that usage is more common in English than for the train. La Gazelle (train) → La Gazelle – Move to undisaqmbiguated title, as this is the clear primary topic in English. A claim was made by an IP user that "The Aérospatiale Gazelle helicopter is frequently called 'La Gazelle'" by a user whose IP locates to Quebec. While this is probably true in French, no proof was provided that this was common usage in English. Subsequently, no evidence of such usage has been provided. I cannot provide evidence that it is not common usage in English, as it is generally considered impossible to prove a negative, the closer's comments notwithstanding.
