editA highlight of this production is the luscious outdoor scenery shots; it would be interesting to know how much of that was shot on PEI. And the scenery is not incidental, but woven into the script, with Anne melting in the joyous freedom of her new world.
PBS 2016 broadcast actual runtime was about 85min.
