If Furreby Kirke is romanesque, it must be a good 600 years older than the 1898 establishment, which therefore cannot be the first church in the area. Please check this again. Doric Loon (talk) 18:22, 3 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

The 1898 establishment is Løkken Church. The romanesque church, Furreby Kirke, is indeed from c. 1200, about 600 years earlier as you suggested.[1] Today, both churches are located within the same parish, Løkken-Furreby Sogn, but at the time the romanesque church was built in the nearby village of Furreby, no settlement had yet been made in Løkken. The first church to be established within Løkken itself was the Methodist church of 1882, which was soon followed by Løkken Church in 1898.
Because parishes once formed an important administrative division in Denmark, I thought it pertinent to include information about Løkken-Furreby Sogn in the article. I did not, however, include information about the parish's romanesque church because it was not originally built within Løkken and may still be considered to be part of a different town. Going forward, perhaps including more information about the church would avoid confusion and make the section clearer. I welcome your input. Uffda608 (talk) 16:27, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
