predecessors of Poissl edit

article claims Poissl was 'first German composer' to set L'Olimpiade; but Wagenseil and Gassmann both made versions before 1815 for Vienna. However I suppose Gassmann is arguably a Bohemian and maybe Wagenseil a gebürtiger Wiener doesn't count as German either? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Omnivore (talkcontribs) 15:44, 27 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

It probably got garbled; I've adjusted, though I haven't actually confirmed that Der Wettkampf zu Olympia, oder Die Freunde was in fact the 1st translated version either. Sparafucil (talk) 00:08, 9 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
