List of faculty necessary? edit

Full disclosure: I'm a member of the faculty. I just deleted a dozen names of people who are no longer with the university. Is there really a point to this section? The faculty changes somewhat every year, and maintaining the list would be a lot of work and of questionable benefit. A list of "prominent past and present faculty members" would make more sense, because you wouldn't have to delete people and you could limit it to people about whom Wiki articles exist or at least English-language online articles exist. Just a suggestion. As it is, this is a queer section. Matt Thorn (talk) 12:22, 22 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
