Meaning of the name

I'm afraid I can't see how "Kyo" means "cow hill". I can see that it might mean "cow", but failing that it sounds like a meaningless folk etymology. Can anyone provide any insight? — Trilobite (Talk) 17:41, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
