Issue edit
@Bs1jac and Lugnuts: Weird. There is almost no coverage about this series anywhere. ICC didn't include this series in their calendar yet and CI didn't create the scorecards. I couldn't find any other sources about this series either. I myself didn't knew about this series until I miss licked a Kuwaiti cricketer. Human (talk) 01:35, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- Looks like it's live now on CI. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 06:48, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
Kuwait squad edit
Note that the Kuwaiti squad that I added when creating the article is based on the reference. Most of the names did not match up with players who featured in the 2019 ACC Western Region T20 although I was able to match some up using Cricinfo and Google. I suspect some of the players who are different to the previous tournament may have name variations and so when scorecards are in Cricinfo (not cricclubs or elsewhere) I suspect some of the names will need to be matched up and adjusted. Debutants edit
@Lugnuts: Shouldn't the debutants be listed after the toss has taken place? Human (talk) 16:00, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- I add them after the toss has happened, as the game hasn't started until then. Same with player stats, etc. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 16:06, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Bs1jac: You got your answer. Human (talk) 16:07, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- Yes as stated I read that the toss HAD taken place and that the debut caps were being handed out. May not have been correct info (although I suspect it was, just not being covered well in the main media); no need to run to Lugnuts to ask a question and use his correct comment as an answer in a different context! The 'answer' I got was just another into unnecessary attitude.Bs1jac (talk) 16:15, 4 July 2019 (UTC)

- @Bs1jac: Caps can be handed out before the toss can take place. I just asked Lugnuts to confirm the question. No attitude intended. Human (talk) 16:26, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- ok no worries. As far as I read the toss HAD taken place... Yes caps were probably handed out shortly before, but I specifically read that the toss had taken place. Anyway let's enjoy another associate series... always something interesting to learn about these teams. Bs1jac (talk) 16:30, 4 July 2019 (UTC)

- PS I am sure there will be Qat debuts as well once we can see a scorecard etc. Bs1jac (talk) 16:31, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- The livestream on the Qatar Cricket FB page doesn't show the scores or have commentary unfortunately. Human (talk) 16:43, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- I always find it amazing that CI has a live ticker of matches that don't even have LA/FC status, but a full international isn't updated for the best part of 24 hrs! Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:40, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
- Awesome work from you both on updating this. Next up is the live fixture from the FBI XI against the Russian Mafia in North Korea. Easier to get a live scorecard for that too! Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 18:08, 6 July 2019 (UTC)
Coverage edit
@Lugnuts: Not only did it take more than 24 hours for the scorecard to appear, CI only lists 10 players for Kuwait in the third match! Bs1jac (talk) 06:54, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
- I'm sure there's excellent coverage on the ICC website. Oh, wait... Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 06:55, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Bs1jac: finally some coverage, from the third best news site in the Middle East! Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 08:50, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
