@Aintabli Isn't the monograph written by Tanyol about the Eğlen village? The same info about Besni is also noted on that page. Semsûrî (talk) 13:59, 25 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
This village is known as Çakallı. On pages 40 and 41, the village is explicitly mentioned. Aintabli (talk) 14:07, 25 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough but neighboring Çukuroba, Kilis is also known as Çakallı and then there's Çakallıpınar just south of Eğlen. The page for Çukuroba also mentions 15 households. Semsûrî (talk) 14:19, 25 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Semsûrî, Hartmann includes both villages with their present name (Tschukuroba and Kusgungyran as far as I remember) and not Çakallı. Aintabli (talk) 14:23, 25 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I see but does Tanyol mention Çukuroba, Kilis since the Besni info is also added to that page? Semsûrî (talk) 14:42, 25 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I think it is unclear which one it is if either of the villages are referred to as Çakallı (not that it can't be both). Aintabli (talk) 14:45, 25 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
