Picture?

I don't think the pictuer "from space" adds much to the article. Does someone have an image they could use to subsitute for this satellite image? For example, a street scene, a view of the city... Thanks, Hu Gadarn (talk) 18:09, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

History

I don't think the first historical note should be from the XVIII. century. Kurgan has a rich historical past, which are worth mentioning. Why don't you talk about kurgans? Why not any Sarmatians, Huns, Scythians, Kipchaks, Tatars and the archeological finds connected to them are mentioned nowhere?
