editI think the article should be about the Kuranda Range - not the highway the goes over the Kuranda Range. Any thoughts? Mkfenn 03:54, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Also as a Cairns resident, when I refer to a "range" it is not a mountain range, but the highway that goes over it. Examples are:
- The Kuranda Range
- The Gillies Range
- The Palmerston Range
- The Rex Range
- Quaid Range (Also known as Quaid Road)

- On second though it does make sence to seperate them... Page moved - Fosnez 02:44, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for that Fosnez. My concern comes from the Kuranda Range also being the official name for the railway line. Maybe Kuranda Range could be a disambiguation page? --Mkfenn 01:01, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Sure, sounds like an idea... Worst that can happen is the admins delete it after all :-) Fosnez 12:18, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
Accuracy
editThere were two significant problems with this article.
1) A 'range' is a land formation, not a road that traverses it. I have fixed this problem - please don't unfix it. 2) There is no formal 'Kuranda Range Highway', and the article should probably be renamed 'Kuranda Range road' (small R). --Jeffro77 (talk) 16:58, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
