Unclear changes

@TheM19935393: I don't understand these changes. You reordered the cast, which seems arbitrary, particularly when you provided no edit summary, and by reverting my last edit, you reintroduced my formatting errors back into the article, which broke the Special appearances table. You also added some sort of slash date into the Use Indian English template, which of course resulted in a broken category at the bottom of the page. Thoughts? Sorry, I must have clicked the wrong buttons at a certain point in time, however, I did want to change the date, in the special appearance section. Primarily because Varun Dhawan was in the 2017 Ganesh Utsav and not the 2018 one, infact most of the people named in that list were in the 2017 one and not the 2018 one. The reason for change in the name of the main cast members was for the purposes of symmetry, Male Protagonist-Female Protagonist-Male Protagonist-Female Protagonist-Male Antagonist-Female Antagonist. However, I would also like to add that it isn't wise to add who is whose wife or husband at this point because the sibling relationship in the show. @Cyphoidbomb: I just like the symmetry, it is Wikipedia, as long as it isn't a factual error, a visually appealing chronology should be fine. Plus, the WP:TVCAST is a 'guideline' and as the page says so in the beginning 'It is a generally accepted standard that editors should attempt to follow, though it is best treated with common sense, and occasional exceptions may apply.' @TheM19935393: 1) Please sign your posts with four tildes, as is required. 2) Personal preference is not a legitimate exception. If it were, then we could organise cast based on how much more we appreciate one character than another. Or if we had patriarchial bias, we could then organise cast with the men at the top and women at the bottom. Or we could organise cast in ascending order by skin shade. Please follow widespread community guidelines unless there is a provocative need to diverge, as the guidelines represent community consensus and preference, and deviations without proper justification is typically considered disruptive, which I'm sure is not your aim. The last name of main female lead hasn't changed Yet.

What is the evidence and logic behind changing the last name of Preeta? Her name is Dr. Preeta Arora. One cannot keep on changing a character's last name at will. It is simply not based on facts presented on the show or the official website. TheM19935393 (talk) 18:25, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

Edit-warring

@TheM19935393 and Divyadrishtifans: This constant edit-warring the two of you are engaged in is highly disruptive. You both need to figure this issue out or neither of you will be able to edit this article any longer. The major changes I've seen over the last few months is Preeta's last name being changed intermittently between Luthra and Arora.

• Has it been expressly stated in the series that Preeta is married?
• Has the last name Luthra been expressly used to describe Preeta? Like, "Hello, I am Dr. Luthra" or "Why hello, Dr. Luthra"?

The character in question is Preeta Arora. She calls herself Preeta Arora, everybody around her calls her Preeta Arora. As the plot description suggests Preeta Arora was left in the middle of the road at the middle of the night by Karan Luthra after he had decieved Preeta Arora at her wedding day with Prithvi Malhotra. Currently the track in the show is dealing with Karan Luthra's wedding ceremony with Mahira Khanna. There is a good probability that Karan Luthra and Preeta Arora may ACTUALLY get married at this particular ceremony. Hence, my argument is that untill and unless that takes place, it is against the plot as well as what the show has established up untill now, to either identify Preeta with any name other than her own last name and also to not infer any sort of information that is not been established as facts within the show. It is not Mrs Karan Luthra. Preeta is an individual with her own identity. When has Preeta or even Karan ever addressed Preeta or anyone for that matter addressed her in that name? Stop being so delusional. Preeta, Karan, Rishabh, Shrishti are addressed and written in the name that they have been clearly mentioned in the official cast list and credit in the official website. There is no actual need to change or add any further information than that which has already been provided. Dheeraj should be removed from maim cast!

Dheeraj Dhoopar has not only officially left the show but his character is also dead. Even if his character is brought back from the dead, it is unlikely to be played by him. It does not matter if a character is dead or not. Articles should reflect the entire history of a series, and as such cast members remain on the list even after their departure from the series. The cast listing is arranged according to the original broadcast credits, with new cast members being added to the end of the list. I would request you to please read MOS:TVCAST. Plot

@ManaliJain and C1K98V: should we arrange plot in tabular format of generation 1 and generation 2 as generation 1 too had multiple Leaps so it's story will be arranged ij such a format that every leap will cover episode numbers in tabular format. And generation 2 will have separate table as it's story has started progressing too. This normal format looks quite confusing. If we separates plot in 2 tables to separate stories of Karan-Preeta and Rajveer-Palki viewers can easily distinguish between both stories.
